Research

At the heart of the School's mission is a commitment to studying psychology from a scientific perspective. The topics covered in the School range from synapse to society, allowing us to maintain a healthy balance between questions concerning the fundamental determinants of human behaviour and key issues relevant to the application of psychology in contemporary society.
The research areas below will provide some idea of the breadth of work carried out in the School. These links provide more detail about each research area and who is involved. As many researchers have broad interests in psychology, some names will appear in more than one group.
