Wales Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience (WICN)
Funded recently by the Welsh Assembly Government, the Wales Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience (WICN) presents an exciting opportunity for collaboration between cognitive neuroscientists at Bangor, Cardiff and Swansea.
WICN aims to enhance research links between the three partner institutions by drawing on collective expertise and resources via a shared management structure, administrative support and high-calibre academic appointments. The aim is to develop an internationally-recognised and world-leading institute for the study and application of cognitive and clinical neuroscience.
WICN brings together scientists from various disciplines within psychology, most notably cognitive science, neuroimaging and clinical neuroscience.
